I hope it is very easy to create Google merchant center account, well the next step is creation data feed. The data feed which contains information about our product. A data feed can be in two format one is tab delimited text format (.txt) the other one is xml format. I found xml is quiet difficult to create and edit so I have chosen text format.

Login to your Google merchant center dashboard fill all the required fields you can find it in settings tab. The informations are generally address, phone, email…etc. Don’t worry about ftp just leave it as usual.

Just enter your product details in the require tab make sure you are pressing tab to go to another column for entering your data.

You can find the fields which I have given below:

Id (required): This is just a number like 1, 2, 3…etc

Title (required): title of your product

Description (required): Description of your product

Link (required): link to the product which is listed in your site

Price (required): product price. No need to specify as dollar, euro etc… because we need to specify targeting country in dashboard.

Brand (optional):

Condition (required): New one or used

Image_link (required): link to the product image

Isbn (optional):

Mpn( optional):

Upc(optional):

Weight (optional):

Product type (required):

Quantity (required):

Shipping (optional):

Tax (optional):You may leave the optional columns as blank.

After entering all the fields click on save as then give the exact name which you have given as data feed name in dashboard then save as type should be Text(tab delimited)(*txt)

Now you have completed data feed creation the next step is upload your data feed:

Click on data feed from your dash board you can see the name of your data feed listed select manual upload and select the data feed which you have created. You can see the status as processing if your data feed is in correct format your products will be inserted and it will show “n of n” in status that all completed then you have to activate the product from the dashboard.
